So... There's been a lot of whining about the series finale.
I'll pretty much tell you what I told this THIS guy So what if it didn't end the way you wanted? So what if we never find out what happened to what's-his-face, or the technicalities of this and that? I mean, sure, there were a few loose ends. (I'm not entirely sure how true the rumors are about a 4th season. Maybe they'll be resolved then? (I, personally, would be ok with it if the story just ended there)) - but does that really warrant you to be crapping all over it? I mean - It would be doing the whole series a dishonor to say 'It's a kid's show, what do you expect?' but really. It was a great ride while it lasted. We (some of us) laughed, we cried. I think those moments should count more when it comes to analyzing a series, and not what happened to some guy we only saw a glimpse of in season 1. And I'm sorry if this reply is bitter and angry. I just can't stomach it to see someone completely bash and stomp all over a wonderful story like this. Mike and Bryan created something beautiful with Avatar, something with spark that you don't see all too often in cartoons these days. If you think you can do better, I'd REALLY love to see you try.  Use if you support Mike and Bryan and what they did! If I could, I'd stamp it all over your souls. |

That finale was EPIC, not to mention proof of the fact that writers don't have to SLAUGHTER HALF THE CAST to make a great ending. *glares at J.K. Rowling* If I were at SDCC, I would totes give them flowers and doublestuffed oreos. Everyone loves oreos.
